Services are available to help refugees and immigrants settle in Canada. EMCN Settlement Counselors can assist you with:
- Settlement orientation and referrals
- Meeting basic needs such as finding housing
- Registering children in schools
- Completing government forms
- Assessing your income needs and referrals to employment counselors
- Supportive counselling
- Immigration related information and referrals
Interpretation and translation services are offered in some languages.

- find housing available in the area you choose
- apply for subsidized housing
- help you learn the roles and responsibilities of landlord and tenant
- assist you with communicating with the landlord
